New Game Modes

Mixed mode

Mixed Mode is a game mode in which two teams fight over a strategic point. While the team is controlling it, they are able to move the payload towards their delivery point. Once the payload reaches one of the delivery points, the owners of this point win. This mode is similar to Push but requires the team to control the strategic point to be able to move the payload. The payload's movement is paused while the other team contests it. This mode requires the players to organize themselves and distribute the tasks.

Pits mode

Pits mode is a mode in which the players deal knockback to the enemies instead of damage. The maps for this mode should be specifically designed to contain many pits. The area should be surrounded by water or cliffs so there are no safe positions on the map. The healing, as well as the shields, decrease the knockback taken. The first team to get the certain amount of kills wins.

Reach mode

Reach mode is a mode in which the players compete to be the first team to claim the objective. It is located far away from the spawn point, however, there are multiple checkpoints on the road to it. The team should claim the checkpoint (like in Contest or Defense) before being able to respawn near it. Each player can choose the respawn point between the ones his team has claimed while being dead. The team can reclaim the checkpoint if there are no foes to contest it.

There are also the gates that block the path while closed and require at least 3 players to stand near it for 10 seconds to open it. Claiming the objective (not the checkpoints) takes 1.5x less time in this mode than in Contest or Defense modes.

Additional rule: the gate closes once every player of the team that opened this gate passes it. If the other team hasn't passed the gate, they should reopen it. This rule can cause problems so it should be tested whether or not to include it.
